Are you a fan of craft beer and want to incorporate your love of beer into your travels? Well, wait no longer because our picks for the best beer cities in America is here!

West Coast Beer Cities

Portland, Oregon is a must for any beer lover. With more than 70 breweries, you’ll hav7715975136_d876ea2768_ke plenty to choose from but be sure to check out Bridgeport, Hair of the Dog, Cascade, Hopworks, Widmer Brothers, Bike Bar, and Commons Brewery. This foodie and eco-friendly city also features museums, art galleries, record shops, and even arcades where you can enjoy a beer. Moving on to the next city which is home to some of the most famous craft brews: San Diego, California. We’re sure you’ve heard of some of them including Stone and Ballast Point. San Diego is home is to more than 100 breweries to explore. Next up is Denver, Colorado which is home to New Belgium, Odell, Oskar Blues and the infamous Great American Beer Festival. Finally, we recommend San Francisco, California which features some great breweries such as 21st Amendment Brewery, Anchor Brewing Co., and Magnolia Brewery. A double bonus for San Francisco is that wine country is close by, so if you enjoy excellent wine and beer, this city is for you.

Midwest Beer Cities

The midwest has some great cities to visit to enjoy excellent craft beer. Stop in Chicago, Illinois for visits to some rather large breweries including Goose Island, Revolution, Lagunitas, and Pipeworks. Milwaukee, Wisconsin is a proud beer town. With names such as Pabst and Miller to their name, they’re equally proud of their craft brewery culture. While you’re here, stop by Lakefront, Water Street, Leinenkugel, and Milwaukee Brewing Co. Grand Rapids, Michigan is a small town that packs a big craft brewery punch. Craft beer lovers will recognize Founders but don’t stop there. Be sure to also visit Brewery Vivant, Mitten, Harmony, and HopCa.

New York City is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the US but it also offers some excellent breweries. While here, check out Brooklyn Brewery, Sixpoint, and Evil Twin. Burlington, Vermont offers scenic landscapes and cool summer days. While you’re here, stop by the Alchemist, Magic Hat, Infinity, and Vermont Pub & Brewery. Next up, visit Boston, Massachusetts to sample beers at Harpoon, Trillium Brewing Company, and Boston Beer Company. Finally, be sure to visit Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to visit Yards, Free Will Brewing, Dock Street, Tired Hands, and the Philadelphia Brewing Co.
